Totnes Liberal Democrats launch constituency wide survey to find out what really matters to people
20,000 homes in the Totnes Constituency will soon be receiving a detailed questionnaire through their letter box asking for their views on a wide range of issues that are important to us all. The survey covers housing, health, education and many other aspects that affect our daily lives. Speaking at the launch Totnes Constituency Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Spokesman, Mike Treleaven said:
' It is vitally important that politicians constantly seek the views of their constituents on matters that affect everyone. Liberal Democrats have always sought to do this, and this survey will allow us find out what people are really thinking about matters that deeply affect their lives. We have many choices available to us today be it on housing, education, social services, health services and how we pay for local government to name but a few.'
He continued:
' Each survey form comes with a freepost envelope and I would urge as many people as possible to take a few moments to answer the questions and let us know how they feel. People have little enough opportunity to express their views and it is vitally important that they are given the opportunity to do so. This is a huge consultation exercise across the constituency and I look forward to publishing the results in the Spring'
