Third Time Unlucky for Mrs May - Time for us to have a Final Say?

Today, MP's rejected Theresa May's EU withdrawal agreement by 344 votes to 286, a majority of 58, throwing the UK's Brexit plans into further confusion. As Ed Davey said; "This is the third time that the Prime Minister has been told that the majority of MP's don't want to leave the UK on her terms. As Lib Dems, we don't want to leave at all." We realise that the best deal for the UK is for it to remain within the EU.

People's Vote March

If the Prime Minister was listening to MPs - and to the people - she would know by now that the most popular option now is for the people to have the final say in a People's Vote.

This is what Liberal Democrats have been fighting for, for nearly three years.

Over a million people marched in London last Saturday to give the Government that same message. Several of us took a break from canvassing for the upcoming council elections and travelled up to London from South Devon to show that this fight is by no means centred around London.

There has been a surge in the number of people joining our local party of late, undoubtedly related to people's frustration about the Tories handling of Brexit and wanting to join our fight.
.

Don't stop fighting. We're almost there!
