The end of a rubbish service!

Waste collection company FCC was finally dismissed by South Hams Council.
The Lib Dems were always against outsourcing our waste collection to a private company, but the Tories insisted.
As you all know, it just didn't work. We have been pressing for 18 months for the service to come back in-house. It took far too long and it will come at a high cost to the council - but thanks to Lib Dem pressure this will now happen.
We will do all we can to ensure a reliable bin collection service in future.
